My first loss...Vortech record 30-1....vid inside....damn

So i lost my first race....heads up with an LS1 camaro on nitrous....my friends and i all put up $700 for this race as we have all seen my Jeep perform and were confident.....this camaro had a 12 bolt rearend and some other unknown mods and a designated PASSENGER to hit his nitrous....:sly:

Top end lost the race....this car HAD to be pushing a 200 shot to beat me....atleast a 11.5 on that run....BUT he's pushing the limits and my power is always there....what else can he do after i throw more mods on?

My friends weren't mad at me at all.....they were just stoked it was such a DAMN GOOD RACE......i still felt bad but now it's time to pull out the big guns!

Not that I condone street racing, but WHY would you agree to a race when you have no idea what he is running?

Why would you agree to a race if someone else had to control the juice?

To me, the Camaro lost if he needed someone else throw the juice switch.


Great race nonetheless. Aerodynamics and weight (lack of anyway haha) won that race.

 

Those my friend are the way that they do it....no opening hoods....i put in $50 for the pot so all the negotiations and such were in their hands.....

I also think it was CRAP that the passenger had to push the juice....

I do 95% track now as you can see from my vids....Irwindale this Thursday! :bigwink:

 

If you would have beat him off the line, you would have one that race. He beat you out the hole. Good run though. A Camaro with mods and NOS barely beating a stock blown Jeep. Not too shabby

 

Just think your motor blower combo in his car would go low 10's

I had a friend that has a 2001 camaro with cam exhust and a 200 shot and he runs 11.2 so my guess would be he had a 200 shot or better.
Glad to hear you only lost 50. shit by now you must almost have that blower paid for.
Can you convince your friends to put up some money and race me?

 

good run,no matter what mods the ls1camaro had.u have gained his respect and he will be telling all his friends what a bad ass jeep u have.

 

All you have to say is ok so who wants to hop in the back seat of my ride Since no one can fit in the back of a camaro

the beauty of the jeep is this - if you win they have to go home and tell their friends how they lost to a 4 door jeep. If you lose, so what, you have a 4 door jeep. We have nothing to lose when we race. I have a date with an 09 turbo 911 after my friend accepts delivery and breaks it in. If I beat his $200,000 dollar porsche he is gonna cry, if he beats me ( it won't be by much if he does), so what....LOL

hey YOUNGMEDIC23,was in in manuel mode or just drive?looks like you hit the rev limiter twice.

 

Manual mode with me shifting.....the shifts were great no lag that I could remember

 

HHP/BES 426. Hopefully we'll make some headway with tuning this weekend. I have confidence in those I am working with and have my fingers crossed to finally get this beast running to potential.

If your 426 is running strong by then and your tune is tits that would be a great one to see, now if it were a GT2 you'd get your ass whooped-LOL

Ur going to need a power adder to beat a new turbo. small shot of nitrous should do it

 

IDK a properly running 426 Jeep with headers, etc. can run mid 3 second 0-60. A new/stock 911 turbo runs 0-60 in 3.7 with a good driver who knows how to launch it. I say he will eat his lunch thru the 1/8 now stretch it out yeah the Porsche will come on a like a rocket.

 

I still don't see if happening but who knows. Steve runs what 11.9 12.0 all motor? New turbo is
a little faster than that. Any ways I am looking forward to seeing it.
