The Moroso Billet valve covers for the 5.7L and 6.1L are available! These fit all years of the 6.1L and up to 2008 for the 5.7L. These are absolutely gorgeous, the best quality I've seen and definitely worth the price ... especially since they are less than other billet covers. We have some in stock here and Moroso has more ready to ship, so let us know if you would like a set.

    Price: $918.88

They are all billet folks hence the price...think how mutch you pay for a little tiny billet knob or catch can and I think you will understand the price!

They are definitely not for everyone, I imagine most of these will go to the folks looking for underhood bling or people doing all out stroker builds. Kinda like the Billet Tech Fuse Box covers, they were very pricey some people wanted them anyway.

^^ He was just putting the size vs. cost of billet into perspective since people were commenting about the cost of these valve covers which come from 1 solid piece of billet ... not saying anything negative about the cost of the smaller billet items!! We have them all over our cars. ;)

trust me lisa, i got the point........ seeing as i deal with all kinds of very pricey metals on a daily basis, i am very aware of the costs of material not to mention the very high costs of running a cnc machine to do the actual machining..... i just might have used a different comparison to make the point :bigwink:

As pricey as those are,its actually a fair price. If I had to take a guess.I bet there is 400 smackers just in 6061.Then you have the machin time of course.Cad drawings, programming Packaging,Marketing, shipping blah blah blah..

Sometimes its hard to forget we dont have chevys where you can go out and by cast valve covers for 150 bucks,or a real set of bitchin billet valve covers for 300 bucks.

I will even share something with you guys.I have been working on a deep sump tranny pan for the nag 1s.The material alone for this was 125 bucks!.And trust me,the volume we have been doing latley I get a damn good price on material. Then again add machine time etc etc.Truth be told,Im not going to make them,Because I know noone wants to pay 350-400 bucks for a dumbass tranny pan.So to land the plane, that really isnt a bad price. And like most of the parts we sell if your not interested in looking pretty you wont buy them..Pretty much like these parts here.Sorry for the rant..

On a different note,Lisa are these taller to clear roller rockers if they ever come to market??

Wow, they are nice, I would love the bling, but I'm more interested in HP now. Keep on tempting me BMC, I should have stock in your company.

I believe the dimensions are the same as the fabricated Aluminum Moroso covers which were made to clear the roller rockers.

Those Moroso logos just look tacky to me. Its bad enough to have it once but twice per cover??? Just my opinion. Remember those fugly chrome small block Chevy valve covers with flames molded in them and Moroso on them and then the matching air cleaner housing and power steering fluid reservoir cap...............
