Hey folks! Got some good sleep last night and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning resized and upload the pics from Nats this past weekend. If anyone would like hi-res images, email me and I'll toss 'em over. From the truck guys: THANK YOU VCA MEMBERS!!! All of us with Viper engines and beds in the back had a great time and everyone said this was the best Viper-powered event they've been to this year. All were impressed with the organization of the event(s), the graciousness of the hosts, and of course, the vehicles (heh heh). Now, on to the pics....in chronological order: THURSDAY- HOOTERS VCA member Stretch was kind enough to drive a couple of the ladies back to the front door: Since the parking lot was so small, the girls weren't able to notice the lacking power of the V8 that came in the yellow vipers. FULL GALLERY HERE: Hooters- Thursday pictures by KevanGeier2 - Photobucket VCA member DragonRider and VCA forum icon V10SpeedLuvr showed up on Friday afternoon, and joined us in Polaris for dinner! The Red vs. Yellow debate continued on until the girls came over and said, "Are you going to let us take pics with your rides or what?!!?" The girls were awesome. FRIDAY- HOOTERS (sort of a trend...LOL) The guilty parties Stretch, DragonRider, V10SpeedLuvr, Konza800, Mrs. Konza800 (Chad's eating wings, of course...heh heh) "No- YOU stand by the truck. I'm afraid of it!" *sigh* Yep- just too scary for the ladies. VCA member Konza800's track-eating SRT-10 made some new friends: DragonRider's ride found a buddy too: Stretch's new friend, "Scuba Steve": "Can we go for a ride, PLLLEEEEAAASSSSEEEE?!!?" Ummmyes. How many beautiful girls can you get in a Viper? If it's not a record, it should be. Owners with their rides: Not quite as pretty, right? Hmmm...getting dark out.... Time to go cruise in Heath! THANK YOU TO THE HOOTERS GIRLS OF POLARIS!!! FULL GALLERY HERE: Hooters-Friday pictures by KevanGeier2 - Photobucket FRIDAY- HEATH CRUISE After his long I-75 road trip "date" with Chad (LOL), DragonRider was tired so he booked back to the hotel to check his eyelids for holes. Chad hopped in the truck and we went out to Heath to see if anyone was there. Oh....they were there. I saw a Jeep trying to get in line with us, so out of the kindness of my heart, I allowed them to pull in front of me. What can I say? I'm a nice guy. I was a good kid on Friday. Only lit them up once after a dad escorted his 4 yr. old daughter to the edge of the street and had her dump her two sippy-cups of water in front of the truck. C'mon man! That's not fair!!! *Line lock: ENGAGED* Chad had never seen Brice Road either, so after a couple of laps in Heath we headed over there. CRICKETS It was as empty as the inside of Paris Hilton's skull. The over-policing of the cruise has really deadened it. Back to the hotel for Chad and a quick nap for me after dropping him off. The color is called "Citrus Explosion" and it's mixed with SSG flake! Looked amazing in the sun. What causes Corvettes to wake up in the middle of the night shaking and sweating profusely? THIS: Road ready and race ready: Lee Saunders' blue TT monster was there ripping up the 1320. It was hysterical to see him launch like a bullet, tear down the track, then slam on his brakes the last 200' to keep his time "legal" (no roll bar, so he can't be too fast). As we were the only two Viper-powered rides with line locks, I tried a couple of times to talk Lee into joining me in the Burnout Contest. Maybe next year. Speaking of racing and burnouts... Konza800 getting ready to race: DragonRider is ready too! A couple of the trucks got in on the fun too! Oops! How did that pic get in there? SHOW CARS A race-ready Skittle: Keeping blue LED factories busy: Plum Crazy indeed! Nothing sublime about this fella: (clone, but a damn nice clone) Beautiful 'Cuda vert (with matte black graphics) Oh yeah! I stood by this guy for 10 minutes waiting to get a clear/no people shot of it: f That's as clear as it got. Check out his engine bay: It was so clean you could eat soup off of it. I'm sorry....does that say "505"? Got Displacement? My personal best in show: I'd sell a couple of toes on the black market for one of these: Wow. Perfect mix of old and new. Very, very nice.
