Momo's 2 Cents on The Spring Fest '08

Wow. What a GREAT time!

Folks, I met alot of you, so forgive me if I miss out on some. But two glaring first time meets for me were Hal and of course, our EQ brother, Legmaker.

To meet Hal was to look into the eyes of the "Godfather of the EQ" (Rick, 3/14/08). Hal originally gave us our basic name, something to deal with Queers... and so the legend began with that statement of his so long ago. Hal, it was a pleasure to meet you and Cindy. Great folks.

Chris, you drunk sodomite. I think that says it all!!! Like I said, it was awesome meeting you (we're now really brothers... Ryan, Drew and Chris are semen brothers).

Here are a few memorable moments from this year's SF:

1. Mr. Ryan Mexican. OMFG! ROTGLMAO.... while checking out this AM, we split the room bill into thirds. The clerk is reading off our names, then looking for us to verify our ID's: Mr. Rick...(answer: "Yes"), Mr. Jason... (answer: "Yes").... Mr. Ryan Mexican???

There was a moment of silence before Rick and I began pissing our pants in the hotel lobby. Somehow, someway, someone screwed up the names in the room, got mine and Rick's OK, but somehow, Ryan's last name was written down as "Mexican"!!! OMG... that was DAM funny! The look of terror and embarrassment on the clerks face was priceless.

What was better, was that Ryan wasn't there, and we made the clerk re-read it to Ryan when he showed up!!! ROTGLMAO!!! Ryan just stood there with the most blank look on his face, in utter disbelief of what was just said. OMG!!! Folks, this was too good and too ironic.

2. Ron's Bathroom Surprise. Backstory: Ron hurt his ankle and was on percocet (painkiller)... and... Ron was drinking heavily. Basically, he was a cripple. So, we see him pass by us heading to the bathroom. IMMEDIATELY we ceased the opportunity. After he got in there, we waited... just enough time for him to start pissing. Then, the EQ entered in full force.

As we're entering, 2 hotel employees are washing their hands at the sink.

Rick drops his pants to his ankles (no underwear on, BTW) and stands next to Ron. Ron nearly shit himself at this point as I approached from behind and was doing a light/mock grind on him.

One hotel employee spit something out of his mouth as Rick dropped his pants out of disbelief and laughter.

Let's just say that Ron was speechless. The two employees, as they exited stated "we didn't see anything".

Little does Ron know that he has a new nickname now: he was drunk off his ass on booze and painkillers and was limping around all night... so, his newest nickname is now....

1LIMP4DR.

3. General. This is more of a generalized personal story. Whenever someone would meet me for the first time, or finally realize who I was on here, I'd get: "Oh, shit... I'm not sure if I should shake your hand (Cbutler) (hinting at that it may have been someplace nasty), or something to that effect. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks folks!

*Also, Rick won a $100 gift certificate at the raffle... and promptly handed it to me! I attempted to decline time and time again, until he threatened violence. I humbly accepted his gracious offer. Rick, you the man brother. I couldn't ask for a better friend. Sure, it was out of pitty as I'm basically mod-less compared to everyone else, but its the thought that counts! LMAO!!!

Gentlemen, help me out with some more highlights!

 

Jason, it was great to meat you and the girls. I still should have hooked you guys up with the real deal in the lobby Friday night. LOL

 

lol, you guys and your utter overflowing gayness is a beautiful thing. i am super sad i missed this special event.

 

That is just awesome Jason!! Man, how I wish I could have met up with you guys this year. Perhaps next year my friend. Sounds like an great time was had by all. I copied a few pics from the thread at LXF. Here's a few and the last one here just scared the shiite out of me when I seen it so thought I'd include it hoping to illicit a response from the EQ.

I had a great time at the SF as well. It was great to meet ALL the folks I got to put faces to screen/real names! The pics don't do the cars justice. Ken/Talon, Ron/1LimpDick, and Chris/Legtaker's cars are amazing in person. It was interesting to see folk's doing burnouts in the parking lot of the DoubleTree Hotel. Friday night reminded me of the pool scene in "Caddy Shack". Saturday was equally as fun. I've never been much of a fan of drifting...but, seeing Sam Hubrinette doing it out on the airfield was pretty impressive...the "other" guy, not so impressive!

During the show Fatchance was being interviewed in front of Kenny Wayne Sheperds classic Charger by "Hot Rod TV". The EQ paraded just on the other side of the car in front of the camera displaying our "colors" for all to see! THAT was pretty phugging funny.

Two of the HOT DUB girls had to have their pics taken with all the guys in the EQ...so we abliged! I don't think she appreciated my semi flacid state poking here in the back during the photo op!! LOL

 

Great time as usual guys! Nice putting some faces to the names on the forums... and nice of Ron to put his face on Rick's forum...er, I mean... ya,... whatever... I should have charged those Dub girls for wanting pictures with my man whores!

 

You guys are funny...moving it up to tv lol...So who else was the life of the party? Any more well-known/active forum members who were cool to meet/hang with?

Everyone was great to hang around with! I didn't meet anyone and say, "DAM THAT GUY/GIRL IS A PUCKER"! Everyone was willing to talk and BS. I got a lot of ideas for my car, bought some BT stuff at a great price, met DAN & HEIDI from BT. I felt kind of bad for them. They constantly had a swarm of customers asking for this and that. They barely got to eat and were freezing their asses off, being from Florida and the wind at the airbase felt like 45 degrees. MOMO chapped his upper and lower lips from various things to include the wind.

Again, it was great to meet several people. Hopefully more vendors will be out there next year. I was hoping to purchase the SRT jacket or shirts, but I never saw any for sale. They were giving away some, but go figure the "MEXICAN LUCK" kicked in and I didn't win shit. The only one to win anything was "WHITEY" and he ended up giving his winnings to another "WHITEY". What a pucking surprise. Oh, wait Luis (HOTBUNS69)did win an SRT8 jacket thanks to his lady. Luis will be known by all as (HOTBUNS69) from now on as requested by his lady/boss and commander! :towel:

We even met Jina who did our shirts. Great job, can't wait to have her do somemore work on a couple other of my shirts. :thanks:

If you didn't make it you need to get out here come next year. Maybe MOMO will have the upgraded windwipers, gas cap and steering wheel cover by then. :harhar:

 

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm as brave as Chris is so I will be flying out Ryan just to have a good time, hang with everyone and see some cool cars. It does look like Jina did an awesome job on the embroidery for sure...I like the color scheme. I want one of those shirts that Ralph was wearing...Motorhead...that's shirt's sweet. I don't do tight though haha. It's pretty cool to live vicariously through you guys on this one though and look forward to more pics! :friends:

 

Yes, the EQ impromptu TV appearance should make us famous... considering we actually did the TV fly-by TWICE! LMAO!!!

Yep, that's right folks... the DUB chicks wanted their picture with the EQ!!!

The only thing Ron's face was touching after like 9pm was a pillow!

After the bathroom incident Ron was all smiles for the rest of the weekend. He didn't need no stinkin' pain pills after the EQ was done with him. Hell he even let out a whistle and blew me a kiss at Sunday's Speedfest while I was in the staging lane. Yup, Ron was LOOSE and relaxed.

On another note: Ryan it's spelled "HotBunz69." Yes, unfortunately for me, my fiance, despite all my stern warnings prior to meeting up with the rest of my EQ brotherin, went ahead and told them of my oh so sexy name (HotBunz69). She also let them know of a particular Superman thong I own.

Overall. I had a HELL of a time. I just wish there was more time to have met everyone. Everyone was in great spirits. A guy couldn't have asked for more. Cars, laughter, drinking, friends, and of course one bathroom hazing. Ahhhhh, yes. I can't wait until next year !!!!!!

thanks rick!!! actually seeing kens car made me realize i have a few things still to do!!! hahahaha as for rons ride.......holy shit is that phuker fast!!! i swear to god, we were doing 90 on the freeway when he hit it and SMOKED the friggin tires!!!! that car is one wicked ride!!!
