the first platoon commander i had was one of the boys, he looked out for us and didnt have his head up his butt. i still keep in touch with him. my last lieutenant led my team on a foot patrol through a mine field in afghanistan, don't be like that guy lol.

 

At least he lead instead of followed I dont know if thats courage or plain stupidity

The only way you can go through OCS (in the Army) is by being enlisted first.

If your intention is to become an Officer, then go ROTC or see if the Military will transfer you to a Military Academy.
