Milan's KW V1's arrived today... W-T-F?!?!

Milan, did you rally race with these SOBs?!?! They look like a bone my Dobermans have chewed on for a day! I mean, I'm sure they'll work fine, but WTF?!?! Ryan said he got them from you as he's sending to me... I kinda feel misled.

Folks: is there any way to replace the rubber/paint coating on the springs of KW's? 'Cause the coating on my KW's is nearly torn off on 2 of the 4...

Milan...after seeing the coilovers first hand an hour ago at Jasons....I have to say you could have at least cleaned the mud off of them!

My wife just asked what was in the boxes... I didn't want to show her the coilovers, because she'd have commented on how they look... so I showed them to her and she was, umm... not happy. I told her they'll work fine, and she said I should've just bought new ones for the extra $$$.

But, I appreciate the deal. I know they'll work ok.

 

If this is true, you truely are a dumbass for not asking for pics of the product before you buy! If it's used and your spending over a certain amount, you should always ask for pics:sly:

OK. Here's a pic of one of them... how this happened I have no idea... the yellow coating is literally sheared off revealing a black 'primer' that feels like its the first layer on top of the metal. Its a bad pic, but my flash won't work.

 

Not a target, but I'm just wondering how it happened. He told me they were in awesome shape. I took his word for it... I'm confident he was being honest, but something obviously happened to them. So long as they work OK, I really could care less.

This is just an FYI for Milan is all... and for others who have KW products...

Ok...something is terribly wrong here. I HAVE PICTURES of mine. I don't know if this is a joke or what...but it doesn't sound funny at all. Here are the pictures..

 

That looks terrible. I shipped the coilovers to Ryan AND I insured them against damage and loss! And guess for how much?? Yup...900 bucks.

 

I sent you a PM Momo. The condition of those coilovers in your picture is absolutely not the way they looked in my possession. They were flawless. Do you think (esp as a Partner of the connection) I would sell them to anyone in my right mind as "like new" if they looked like that. And then, after the sale was already complete, say things like, "When I posted these for sale, I said they have like 1000 miles on them to be safe, but really, they have like 400"....I don't do that shit to people. My only fault was they didn't come with the wrenches and I intended on helping Ryan find a set or split on a new set. I also insure them fully and when they arrived, not one word of ANY damage whatsoever. I am not going to make any assumptions about how they were damaged from Ryan's house to yours...but something is not right AT ALL. The only reason I sold them was because I was purchasing HHP's stage II kit with Jet Hot coated headers and later decided to get the torque converter...any money left over which ended up being significant was to be tucked away for the AFCO suspension of JMatt's.

 

Well, I found the proof..and sent to you via PM. I hope Ryan insured those against damage or loss like I did when I sent them to him...they should be insured for the full amount that they were paid out in.
