I rec'd my tune from Andy at MHP on Wednesday. My mods are in my signature. Here's the scoop.

    1) The Jeep feels more alive then ever. No mod to date has had a more noticeable immediate effect.
    2) I installed the tune at 3pm and was at National Trailways by 6pm racing. I wasn't able to completely get the tune to settle in by the time I was making 1/4 mile passes. TCM has taken a little time to learn itself as expected.
    3) Autostick doesn't shift itself anymore and shift points are raised to 6500rpm. This part was a learning curve for me. By the end of the night I started to figure it out. In 1st gear you have to shift around 5500rpm to hit the 6500rpm. And in 2nd gear you need to shift around 5800 to hit 6500. If you shift any later you'll bounce of the rev limiter and have to wait a second for the next gear to kick in. Again, I was learning this on the fly with the TCM still learning also. I think once me/the truck get everything together my times will drop further.
    4) I was able to get through the traps without shifting into 4 gear. :D

    Track Results for National Trailways:
I got to the track after a 40 minute drive thru traffic in 90º heat. To help the TCM learn faster on the freeway I was hammering it pretty hard in the few open spaces I had. At the start of the night the DA was at 3500 and was down to 3100 for my last race. I was parked next to a guy who had a hand-held DA meter that was properly calibrated. He was tracking the DA before every race.

This was my best time of the night.
    8:45PM 3300 DA
    60' - 1.88
    330 - 5.380
    1/8 - 8.29
    MPH - 83.73
    1000 - 10.82
    1/4 - 12.97
    MPH - 104.93
    Corrected is 12.45 @ 109.36 MPH

This could've been my best time, waited too long between 2nd to 3rd shift and bounced of the rev limiter. This was my fastest MPH at the traps.
    9:17PM 3100 DA
    60' - 1.90
    330 - 5.40
    1/8 - 8.33
    MPH - 83.59
    1000 - 10.86
    1/4 - 13.006
    MPH - 105.11
    Corrected is 12.521 @ 109.262 MPH

All in all this is an excellent mod. I know some people are thinking the price point might be a little high, but it's completely worth it. If you're looking to gain the most out of your Jeep then you need to do this!

Glad you are happy with what you received and congrats on some great track times.

Note: MHP is NOT a Supporting Vendor here and is NOT recommended on this forum. Just a heads up to you. :)

Thanks, but I was just posting my results. I've received a good product and just wanted to let people know about it. :usflag:

I don't know why my sig isn't showing up. Lemme try this.

I live in downtown Columbus...Harrison Park West to be exact. I'm heading back to National Trailway Wed for more results if you're interested in meeting up.

Understood, which is why I made my first statement, however, please know that talking about a nonsupporting vendor goes against our policies.

Also know that I have not edited your post as we are somewhat liberal about the vendor policies until there are complaints. :)

Oh, and your siggy is now visible.

    Ron,
The only way people will know about others that are out there with new stuff is talking about them...Its also a great way for the vendor themselves to see how tight nit we all are and see the value of becoming a SV!:sly:

That is why he is allowing it as it was posted in a mature manner by Mike. I personally have a big interest in this given the recent supporting vids that were just posted on the Cherokee site. As Ron has said before we dont discourage non-vendor discussion or new non-vendor items and we all know other sites and vendors are out there hence the no URL blocking, as long as it does not take over or away from paying vendors on here with similar or equal parts there is no problem.

Mike when you get a chance post up the vids man let em see how the jeep rocks now!!

    Thanks Central!

Seriously guys, this isn't the same car anymore. In the vids you can the Jeep doing 110 in 3rd. So that means no shifting right before the traps.

Fine line between relating personal experience with some product or other and explicit advertisement. Easy enough for a vendor to circumvent supporting vendor qualification and have "members" do advertising for them.

For example, if you get a great tune and want to share your experience, fine.
If a vendor maybe gives you free product or a break on price with the agreement or expectation (implicit or explicit) that you post positively about it on the forums you frequent (or don't frequent) then that's something different right?

In fairness to our supporting vendors we have to watch for that. and we generally cut a LOT of slack when making a subjective decision (which, in my personal opinion, I believe we are doing in this case).

Thanks Quick. I understand where you're coming from.

I'm just excited about how my Jeep feels now. You know, that excitement how you just can't wait to drive your car again!

Is Wednesday a Test and Tune night at Trails? If so, it might be some of the best weather for racing that you could ever expect in mid-summer. I am testing some new tunes as well (not very happy yet) and I may have to come up.

It's the bracket racing night. Gates open at 5. You can get about 3-5 runs in before bracket races start. Once brackets start they'll let people down the track in between divisions. Last Wednesday I got about 10 runs total. If possible it helps to get out there early to help with the heat soak.
