So I have decided that I should probably play it safe and get a Meth kit for my car So the question I have for you is simple, tell me what I should get? I need to know what kit I should go with for the Vortech and where I can get it. :thanks:

well..."low boost" isnt necessarily where im going hahahaha hence the forged 6.1 i bought....im not going crazy boost but not "low boost" either.... so...just being ultra safe :happy:

stevo - kinda what i was thinkng....... seems to me a ton of people running boosted set ups these days on mostly stock set ups and having no real issues with just a good tune and premium gas. now, higher boost, etc. might be a good investment!!! lol
Myself,1fastsedan and Mol are all running the labonte kit. With the vortech kits we all ran 2 nozzles. With my techco im just running a single larger. Even in low boost situations you can run it and it lowers intake temps and raises octane. Consider it added safety. You can also tune for it though. I saw 20hp/25tq gains with a meth tune at 8psi with my vortech and about the same with my 5psi techco. The controller allows you to adjust when the spray comes on and when it comes it at 100%. I started at 2psi and full in by 5. With the votech I ran through about a gallon of 50/50 mix a month or so. With the techco im using more since im in boost a lot sooner. I cant imagine with a forged bottom end you will be running anything under 8psi...I know im going to 10 or so with mine. so i take it that the system is a somewhat low maintenance thing??? just check the bottle routinely and fill it as needed?? where is your bottle??? when you say 50/50 mix, i assume water and meth??? sorry for the noob questions, just never dealt with a meth system before.
Dont you basically use something to the extent of windshield washer fluid? lol maybe i am wrong but isnt it something weird like that as the meth mix? if im totally wrong where do ya get it? just a normal autoparts store?
He won't be able to follow too close behind... there will probably be two or three of those EQ guys stuck back there in his way!
us socal guys can not get the good washer fluid so we are mixing our own 50/50 meth and distilled water. steve and chris, pm sent.
