They look pretty cool to me. That is why I posted the info a couple of years ago. At about $200 a pop, It will take you about 6-8 or more oil changes to re-coupe the money. Feasible Now.... how well do they work for street? ..
Provided it doesn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes to clean, or require chemicals, or an air compressor, etc. There is a "cost" to that as well. as opposed to what? is there a difference?
The qustions are: Is the filtration level equal/better than best regular oil filter? How often do you have to clean (do the billet units have the same anmount of filter area)? How does the bypass opeate, if supplied? The PurePower filter unit looks pretty solid. The TruFilter seems to have smaller filter unit. TruFilter sire is down for another week. I will ask them some questions.

More info on the filter from Pure Power: Nathan, The replacement for your 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 6.1L Hemi is part# PP8431. We suggest that you inspect the filter element after the first 500-1,000 miles to check for lint and debris, because the filter is much more efficient that paper filters. If the filter is clean, you can extend your filter service interval to every other oil change. It is very important to thoroughly clean and flush the filter at least 2 times each year. Cool. Do a Blackstone labs oil analysis on a sample just before changing it and swaping in the pure power. Then get another analysis on a sample just before the next oil change after that.
I don't think i can swing it anytime soon.. but it is on my todo list. Can't wait to hear how yours goes.
