Hmmm, bump? Somehow I doubt this will make the high priority list but I find it really annoying/tedious to have to pop up a second window with the [more] button and then search for the smilie I'm thinking of. And I swear they're never in the same place on the pop up window two times in a row. Seems like they get random positions every time so even if you remember where it was last time it's going to be somewhere different next time. So... Ideally, the window on the side of the post window (shows 15 smilies) should have the last 15 smilies used by that particular user (heh, we can remember posts visited by user). Chances are you're going to use them again and you'd very rarely have to use the popup window for more (called "locality of reference") Less ideally, a) Populate the side window with the 15 most popular smilies (most used site wide)and sort of group them by type in fixed physical locations -- happy smilies, sad smilies, lewd smilies, etc. b) fixed physical locations of the smilies in the popup window. Also grouped by type. this would be a good spot for some smilies but then I'd have to go find them...

Gotta agree. Sorry Mainsy! Nothing worse than looking for a wink smiley and having to go up and down that dreaded list to find the bastard. Sometimes I give up and just select a totally inappropriate one lol..
