8 months today! She's now trying to bang or kick things for the sake of noise. Still hasn't figured out crawling, but has the knees/hands thing down. Here are some hat pics I took this morning.
Oh man...once she gets the noise thing down pat any sleep that you DO get will be GOOOOONNNNNEEEEEEE hahahahaha
She's starting to repeat syllable sounds now. I heard her doing it under her breath yesterday and today she was doing it out loud in her jumper. Mix of "dadadadadada" and other stuff. She'll be a chatterbox soon. :happy:
I was just looking at Maddy's first pics this morning and lo and behold, she's gone and passed another milestone. (See last two photos). Marc took these of her on Sunday morning. I think she just prefers male photographers! Took these Tuesday morning. She actually went looking for the Lightning McQueen toy. Maybe she IS taking after me. This happened after I put her in the crib to wash my hands. I came back into the nursery and she was peeking over the railing at me. 8 and a half months and she's figured out how to sit up (with help from the railing). Time to lower the crib and babyproof the crap out of everything!!
Some photos from the past few days... The first few are from the day after Christmas. We got her some different plastic ball type toys with textures and cars inside. The rest are from this morning. She kept flipping over while we tried to change her outfit so we plopped the hat on and took a few photos. Note her two lower front teeth in the last photo.
Yesterday marked nine months for Maddy and today was her check up. Length - 29.25 inches (90-95% percentile for 9 mo) Weight - 20 lbs 2 oz (75%) Head Circumference - 46 cm (90%) and no signs of anemia! :dance4: So basically Maddy's the size of the average one year old inspite of being 10 weeks premature! :maddy::happy: 9 months ago: Now:
