Well I did it yesterday, installed Eibach springs and I was going to reuse the Nivomats and lower the top mounts however one of the shocks broke when we were reattaching the top nut. :(
I had to use the only shocks I could find on short notice - Monroe 5758's in the rear and reused the stock front Bilsteins.
I can say after driving around that I do not suggest this spring/shock combo as it is very bumpy, not controlled and just a bad option.
    :(
    Here's some pics anyhow

Wow!!! I was gonna try the same thing because i didnt wanna spend $1600.00 for coilovers. What Eibach kit did you use? I'm guessing the Pro Kit because it doesnt look that much lower, although it will drop alot more in the comings weeks depending on how much you drive it. Dam, the ride is that bad huh?

I used the Pro Kit, I think the key is the rear shocks to be honest. I'm looking into some options but I'll probably either get the Eibach shock setup or the Pedders shocks.

Ok, im looking at the Eibach Sportline's because it has a lower drop. You can also get the factory bilsteins that the 08's come with now, there suppose be Nivomat free. Please post some more pics once it drops lower, especially the rear because there been questions if our cars really have Nivomats.

I looked up the part # for the Bilsteins and they are approx $195 my cost for each shock. If you have a different part # and price I would go with them. It feels like I'm hitting the bump stops in front already though, we cut about an inch off...

i thought that was why we were cautioned against going with just lowering springs...

i figured it was almost a requirement that if you wanted the better stance that you would have to go with the coilovers....

hope you get things sorted out quickly!! :flowers:

Have you looked at the Belltech Nitro Active shocks that might help but not sure if they will fit your 300, but on a bright note the C looks great!!! Check with the Vendor on here called Moes for more info

Did you try Mopar Supercenter, I thought they had the rear Bilstiens now and they were less than that.

A guy on the OC just did this, Chumly, I think he posted on your thread there. PM him, I know he knows the prices and I swear he said he got the shocks from MSC. Check with him, he should be able to help you out, he's a cool guy.
