Installed the Hotchkis springs I bought from Speedlogix a couple weeks ago along with Bilstein rear shocks........I am very satisfied with the install.....Front dropped 5/8" (Hotchkis advertised 1/4") which was close to the 1/2" I really wanted. Rear dropped 1" (Hotchkis advertised 3/4")......

I had several advise me to do the coil overs but I wasnt looking for more than the drop I got and saved several hundered $$$.....I am pleased with the ride also....only slightly stiffer than the OEM springs and seems to have a tad improvement in handling...

I was surprised the drop was more than what was advertised....dont get me wrong...I am not unhappy with the extra drop...I originally looked for something that give me close to 1/2" front and 1" rear....dont want to be much lower as the roads around here are not level...I had to come out of my driveway and our street onto the main road at a certain angle as it was to keep from scraping the front....

I do have a question for someone that may know.....I understand that the springs will settle some.....how long before max settling and how much lower will she drop?

Here is a quick picture....forgive me for she is dirty but I havent had time to clean her...

    Nice setup Larry.
Did you replace the front shocks with Bilsteins also?
They look like nice "performance street" shocks and Bilstein is well known for making good shocks.

I don't know tho...I think 4 Bilsteins and new springs is very close to a set of BC Coilovers.

I did not replace the front struts as they seem to be working fine.....and you are right about cost....if I had bought all 4 it would have been close to the same cost as coilovers.....I probably would not have bought the springs had I known the rear shocks had to be replace because they are self leveling.....

Didnt realize this until I saw a note on Speedlogix's site about the rear shocks after I ordered the springs.....no other vendor mentioned this including Hotchkis.....but I got the look I wanted and it rides well so all is good..

Thanks Chase...I could have already been modded out if..;)

Hey Ron....................:p:p:p:p:p........can you feel the wind?...
