Ok I found a 300c srt8 black with 46,000 for 21,000. The car looks really well takin care of. Question I have being a diesel guy is what all do I need to look at?

I plan on putting a hellion twin turbo kit on it. What other mods do I have to do like transmission rearend? I don't want crazy hp out of it just to dd 10 miles round trip and play around with some gm's and fords in town.

Want me to go take a look at the 300? Probably easier for me to spot something rather than trying to explain...

If you stay low boost, the tranny will be fine. But you will most certainly want to plan for future reinforcements. Built tranny, forged motor...

You can keep the open differential, but an LSD would be my recommendation. Also have Dave add a TC. 2800 Stall should be good for what you want.

You can always come by and take a ride in my slow POS for an example.

Ron the car is in Arizona. I was going to have mom dad look at it while he is their. I don't wana go over low boost for now. My cummins is a money pit right now got 15,000 in it still not running need about 13,000 for transmission dual pumps and injectors and it should be ready to hit 1,100 hp on fuel only.
Ron didn't u move to another state I thought I seen that on tsc?

Waiting for the house to sell first. :)

Well then, have the parents do a once over for any physical damage. Look at the brakes and rotors. Any grooving on the rotors? Are the rotors slotted?

Check the oil to see if old or new. While driving listen for any obvious motor noises. Listen for clunks or whines from the suspension, transmission, and rearend. Do the shocks look ok? Any leaks?

Do the owners have any service records?
