I looked at the Manhiem national dealer auction average sale price for an above average condition low miles SRT6.....$18,450....this is what a dealer would pay so I would say $23K is a fair retail price...
Wow. I'm surprised Ryan (diegochrysler) hasn't seen this thread, it is in his favorite section, afterall! LMAO!!!
Huh...go figure...I guess in my mind I always though of them as rare & unique so thought they might have held value a bit better. They were as pricy or pricier at list than our cars no?
The little Crossfire is fun as heck to drive but is a tight fit for anyone over 6 ft...I am 6-2 and can get in one but I feel closed in.....there are a lot of Crossfires sitting around with low miles. My dealer showed me a list from the Chrysler Dealer auctions and there were 60+ 2005 Crossfires (most were not SRT6s) that had never been sold. Many of these had 10 or less miles on them.
a buddy of mine bought a brand new crossfire and he sold it within 2 weeks, due to being to cramped and tight
It seems about 6'2" is about as tall as you can be and not have your head hit the roof. There are owners at 250-260 that say the fit just fine. As for price, with 20-25k miles, I've seen a few go for about $18-19,000. With less than 10k miles they run about 21-23,000 and with less than 5000 miles maybe 24 to 25k. The ragtops can go about another 2k on top of those prices. If you really look you can still find an under 1000 mile example for $23-25,000. Even though they seem to be dropping in price, these are also '05 models. From what I've been seeing, the price seems to be bottoming out at the high teens. At $21-23k these are one of the best bang for your bucks rides out there!! With about $2000 in parts you have yourself a slot car for the street that will turn very low 12's in the quarter and still get you 19-20 mpg's in town and about 24-25 on the highway. Add all that to the fact that you're driving only 1 of 2016 coupes and 1 of 928 convertibles, and you have some exclusivity to these find rides.
