its probably not needed but probably couldnt hurt...would be interesting to see the effect a filter has on it if any....

would have to be a real high flow filter haha

    LOL....

Hey Steve, do you have to Vortech intercooler? Is so, where did you guys put your BOV? I've reading to stay on the blower side of the intercooler, but I'm not sure I'll have the room...Thanks!

Or you could just post a pic of your set-up.:bigwink:

The rule of thumb is to put the BOV as close to the blower as possible...that may just be a turbo thing, but I think it should hold true for blowers as well.

How much do those things weigh? Seems like it would be putting some rotational leverage on that pipe?

(maybe have it straight up and cut a little hole in the hood?)

i think that its very very light....it looks much more "beefy" than it is....and you would have to...cause as it stands there it touch's the heat shield under the hood lol

I'm glad to see that you left a c*nt hair's worth of clearance. ;) Holy crap that's a lot of stuff...and I thought it was bad now. I guess its about to get worse.

    LOL

well the hoods the issue haha....

i'd love to have a hood that looked exactly like the OEM SRT8 charger hood with like a 2" cowel or something....that would really help with the whole clearance thing lol

also...make sure you do a test fit as best you can when fitting that thing up....we didnt do that on mine and really got lucky that it fit...

you can probably put it in a better spot than I have it
