This has been a long time in the making, but i have finally joined the ranks of the blower folks!!! i would first like to thank ron for the great deal and the help. BT for all there assistance in "sprucing" things up for me after i got the kit, as well as for the little "gift" heidi ok'd for me!!! Bob at moes perf. for his incredible help in rounding up all the little things i needed. johan at diablo sport for his help in getting me a base tune to get things started!! most importantly, i would like to thank scott for all his help in spending my money, helping me get things done with the planning and the install, and for just being genuinely excited about helping me out and seeing a successful outcome from this project!! you are a true friend scott!!!

    list of changes:

paxton novi 1500 blower (with drilled oil pan for return line)
vortech heat exchanger along with the gsm heat exchanger
billet fuel rails with front crossover
    68lbs injectors
    NGK 2315 colder plugs
snow perf stage I meth kit
    diablo sport custom tune
    mopar performance tcm

    the story goes like this....

ron calls chris on x-mas to say merry x-mas and oh btw, i am getting a techco blower, want to buy mine???

chris thinks about it for a day and says sure!!

i start buying "stuff" (gauges, boost a pump, vortech heat exchanger (thanks hemi~c)

    finally get blower in feb.

scott says lets "spruce" things up with some polish and anodizing!!

i start making a list of things to do...... call bob at moes for lots of "little" things!! lol

    get everything together by march

scott comes up for a weekend install in april

day after install, blower pukes oil!!!

call ron, who calls paxton and gets things rolling for a quick fix!!

paxton gets blower last week of april
*side note - it has been a very long time since i have had such a great experience with a company in the aftermarket business!!! the guys at paxton were professional, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable!! i would not hesitate for a second to recommend someone to them!!! thanks to gil, jamie, mariano, and carlos for making a shitty situation not so bad!!!

    i get blower back today

everything is back together and running!!!

    a few pics!!

    starting to take things apart

what do i do with all this stuff?

    i fed scott well!! lol

    really coming apart

    pinning the crank

the kit from vortech for crank pinning. around 50 bucks if you buy it seperate

    coming together

    uh-oh, sprung a leak!!!

she is wrapped up while down so the dogs do not scratch my freshly, richie carborn polished paint!!! lol

    the blower is back!!!

    nice bt catch can bracket!!!

the garden hose was a great tip from the guys at paxton to get the air out of the lines for the air/water cooling system for the blower!!!

    looking pretty!!!

i love this location for the filler bottle, not in plain view!!! i made a slick little aluminum bracket at work out of 1/4" x 3/4" bar material. that bottle is solidly mounted for easy filling!!!

meth anyone???? this kit will be set up on a seprate switch for track use only. johan is going to tune for pump gas fro everyday and one tune for the meth and track days!!!

it has been a very long last couple of months, with some very late nights in the garage!! as i download more pics, i will post them up. i will say this...... i have only driven the car once so far, and it is night day different. the behavior of the car is so different, it is like driving a completly different car!!! lol i wil post more as things develop!! stay tuned!!! lol

Congrats on the maiden voyage Chris. I know that it has been a long journey for you since we first spoke, X-Mas day. lol Scott is a GREAT friend to have, and you are fortunate enough to have him only a few short hours away. haha

I do need to correct you on one piece. The guys from Paxton are really the guys from Vortech. lol Gil and team are awesome and I am glad (with no doubt) that they took care of you the way they did.

Yea, I LOVED the water filler under the master cylinder panel. That thing was a pimple in my car. Too bad I only got to enjoy that change for a few months. lol

I am truly amazed at the repolishing BT did to the blower and after cooler tank. WOW. While in my possession, it NEVER shined like that. NEVER!

Congrats buddy. And welcome to the family of Forced Induction (F/I). tee hee. :worthy::worthy::worthy:

Congrats Chris! You do know that Ron has "blown" two motors now with your setup! LOL

I see many fun posts in our future! See Ryan (even though he never went public) and Jason's experiences with blowers!!! J/K, I know you are "somewhat" of a gearhead and have things covered!!!!

    Congrats brother!!

    Correction Rickster,

That blower has only taken the life of one motor. The second motor did not have the blower installed. lol

And Chris will be fine as long as he keeps the boost at 6lbs, NOT 8. :p

Congrats Chris! Any custom airbrushing going to be done on the new set up? Or will there be a redirection of your current scheme to compensate for the new bling under the hood?
