So I have the stock 2.75" diameter exhaust.

If i wanted to get the Kooks headers/midpipes will they mate up to the OEM exhaust, or will I need to have a 3" pipe to connect?

    heres why I ask...

nope its 2.75...when i had the flowmasters installed they were too big for a 2.5 inlet/outlet and too small for a 3"...so they just stretched out the pipe to fit the 3"

Worse comes to worse I can just get a 3" pipe bent up for me...i just want to know if i HAVE to first lol

It is time you do away with the small exhaust and upgrade to 3". Your S/C will love you for it.

    But, to answer your question.

You will need to fabricate a coupler to go from 3 down to 2.75.

think its easier to buy a used catback...cut the mufflers off and put in my flows....

i love my flowmasters....i refuse to use any other exhaust :) LOL

dude, just replace the pipes with 3". Any reputable shop can make them, and for cheap.

Hell get a hold of BWoody or Exhaust Depot here on the forum.

Stock exhaust fits just fine on Kooks headers and cats.I ran mine that way for a few months.
