Sure, that would be great. Thanks Adam
Adam get off the forums and go to the track already-LOL
HAHA..LOL!! Im actually going to a wedding here in a few minutes. Ive been waiting to post on the Jeep for 2 weeks, but have been too busy. Hell I havent even posted the 970 dyno pull on my Challenger. Ill be hitting the track again real hard in 2 weeks to dialed the car in, then Ill be going back East to represent the West Coast Kenne Bell style.
Can you just let us all know if it's more or less than $7,000??? (I'm assuming more)
And how in the hell is the stock block gonna hold up to a 600+awhp tune????!!
Well the whipple kit is around $8500.00 w/o tune if I remember correctly, give or take $100.00. So this one would have to be about the same, since they are pretty much identical twin screws.
All kits will come with new strut bar...specify color black, red, silver
All kits will be provided with pre-gapped plugs
Kit black $8600.00
kit polished $9150.00
Tuner kit black $8000.00 (no tune, tuner, bap)
Tuner kit polished $8550.00 (no tune, tuner, bap)
All pricing does NOT iclude shipping, which can vary from $140.00 to $200.00 depending on location.
Kits are avialble for order now..estimated time for shipping of kit is 10-15buisness days from date or order. Thanks Adam S.T.Motorpsorts 909-388-2536
The Kenne Bell and Whipple are not the same. The Kenne Bell is a much better built unit, and is proven to make more power. Thanks Adam
Also..for the install. Its going to be a 14-17 hr install. There are 2 areas that need to be cut out on the cowel, and new covers are provided to cover the area, along with templates on where to cut. The new covers are screwed down, and sealed with RTV. The batt will need to be relocated to right side of the engine bay. This is a kit..there will be no fab work needed. Every part needed to complete the job, down to the last screw will be supplied. Thanks Adam
Adams another question, when you relocate the battery is there enough line to reach to the other side?
The parts are supplied for the relocate. Like I said..everything needed is included for one helluva package. Thanks Adam
My bad Adam you did say that Im just the type that worries, sorry man wont doubt you no more-LOL
Cool..now just give in to you wants .... and order a kit:grin:
I would love to give in but my credit card would be on fire after that swipe:stars: Maybe after I sell some stuff.
happy to see another f/i option for the jeeps. Now to paraphrase all the other net b/s that folks came up with when the techco and whipples came out, wow, $9100, and that doesn't include the 14-17 hour install, so that pushes the price to easily over 10k and you have to cut the cowl and its another $400 for the meth kit with install to get the high number you've posted, blah blah blah. Swapping the battery is too much work.
Ok, typical but warranted twin screw criticism over. Look forward to seeing it hit the track. Wish it were FEAD and not serpentine, but at least its out there and available. Would guess that fuel supply, even with larger and properly scaled injectors, will reach a quick ceiling. Track numbers, go get some for us, should be fun to watch.
Definitely excited to see this thing at work at the track!
Not only is it nice to see that a company has stepped up to get this out there for us, it's nice to see that it's been done in such a comprehensive manner - the new battery cables, templates for cowel, etc. - makes this much more enticing!
Im working on some pieces that could make the kit about 200.00 cheaper. Ill know here in the next day or so. Thanks Adam
What kind of manifold is that KB on?
I have seen this in person, Very clean install. I think it ran a 7.2 in the 1/8
