    This is really sad..Jurassic Park the Book was awesome...and the movie also Obvi...

    First Crichton book I read was "Andromeda Strain" back in college.
    That got me hooked.
    I read all of them after that.

    RIP Michael Crichton, this guy could cut through the bullshit.

    If you get a chance, read one of his recent books, "State of Fear". You will be illuminated in case you don't know what our leadership and the media propagate. I've loaned that book out about 10 times and it always comes back with the comment, "those bastards", lol...

    Man I did book reports on his books in junior high and high school, great writer. RIP.
