Disrespectful to slam those that serve. It is NOT funny! Maybe stapling paper to phonepoles as a community activist better suits you?

So that's what the Navy's like? I guess I didn't pay attention the 10 or 15 days I've been on a ship the past 13 years. haha

I was in the Navy from 1966 to 1970. I was promised the world. Got pots and pans in boot, and back dock and toilet duty when 1st on Adak. I can relate.

    Have you served?

Anybody that currently serves or has served is almost obligated to bash the other branches. But push comes to shove...there is nothing but respect for those still serving, or those who have served. Get over yourself...

Yes, I and many family members have served and are serving. Sickness, above, shows he has never served anyone anything of value..... foul-mouthed fool! A dau just got out after more than 9 years as an MH-53 (the BIG one) helo pilot and a son is in Afghanistan. I took my turn 40 years ago. I understand menial task assignments usually go mostly to those that score lowest on their aptitude tests and are unable to handle much better. When we got our MOSs in boot camp, one of the four boots I taught to read some asked me what a cobbler was. I told the shoe-repairer-to-be that it was a desert made with Georgia fruit and he believed me........... I was drafted but made the best of it and eventually got my commission. I will mention that after the army (I cannot capitalize that word - ask jessica lynch why) tried to grab me, my draft board informed them my parents were married so I was sent to another branch....... the branch the ignorant navy dropped off at low tide on Tarawa, sacrificing thousands of them to Jap sniper fire as they were forced to wade ashore from way out too far.

Im a Marine that had his share of cleaning duty on a ship.
and its not slaming because every branch goes through the same thing. At one point in time we've all cleaned the head or laturen. we all have respect for one another and of course were gonna have brance bashing we earned that right by serving.
