In order to back up those beautiful dyno sheets we readied the Jeep for the track to see if the new heads and tuning would yield a track gain. Besides the LX Spring Fest event we will track test at Irwindale and California Speedway this week. The results were the GS/Richwood Jeep was the fastest ET vehicle bar none. The East Coast and West Coast vendors all showed to flex their muscles. Most were sporting 426 and 392 fire breathing monsters. Good times and it was great to meet the boys from PPP finally putting a face to the names. Anyway the factory 6.1 GS/Richwood Jeep with our new heads and a 125 shot ran a 11.6@117 and then clicked off a track best of [email protected] taking the trophy for the quickest ET but Hal took the overall MPH at 120mph. We were also happy with our two naturally aspirated runs of 12.4 and 12.3@108. Not to shabby for a California track.
AWESOME Steve!!! I may going the same route as you on my 08 as far as N/A goes.....wondering if any cam is recomended with those heads?
Why even hassle it in California. If you can run low 12's in California with our heads and tune......back East we are in the 11's N/A!!!
