We will hopefully have the shipping date from the factory to Ksport for the coil overs by the end of next week. The coilover drawings have been completed and sent off for production. It should not take long once the ball is rolling at the factory.

I will have the coilovers dropped shipped from Ksport on all paid orders, you will receive a tracking number. Branden told me that Ksport will put together a installation video or manual before they ship when we test fit the coils on Casey's Jeep.

I have the drawings for the front suspension and rear coil mounts from Branden its what the final parts will look like minus the measurements. Hopefully the next post I make will be of the final ship dates.

    Enjoy

When I get confirmation that the coil overs are being manufactured and have the ship date I will send an invoice to the customers that have a remaining balance.

If you there are any more questions please feel free to pm, email or call me.

Anyupdates? Also how does that locking mechanism work? Because I have heard that some cars with coilovers with time will start to drop by them selves and you would have to keep adjusting your Coilover so that it is even with all the other ones. I see the lock on the bottom, but what prevents it from moving? Also can the height of the Jeep be adjusted while the tires are on the ground or doyou have to jack the corner up first and them adjust it? Sorry for all the questions.

    Thanks!!

There should be a set screw to lock the adjusting collar. You have to jack the car up to adjust the height just to unload the springs imo.

I have not seen any sag in the springs for the coilovers from Ksport in the past, I know from the drawing there are 2 rings one is a perch and the other is a locking ring. You would adjust the perch for the ride height you want, drop the car rock it a few times and see if it is close. If it is set the locking ring and drive it. In the past I found that if you adjust them about 1/8" to 1/4" higher than you want after about 2 hours of driving they will settle and should stay there. The kit will come with all the supplies needed to install the coilovers including the spanner wrenches, and keyway/allen keys need to adjust the rebound and dampening.

I would not try and adjust the suspension loaded (on the ground/with the suspension compressed with the weight of the vehicle) This could possible damage the coilovers or possible cause personal injury. I looked for a thread on coilover installation on the connection to post a link but could not find one. I will look again tonight when I get home it wont be of the Jeep coilovers but should give you a rough idea of how its done.

I hope this information has helped you out and if there are any more questions please feel free to either email me [email protected], pm me or call 480-233-2836

Thanks George! So the allen bolt that is suppose to lock the lock is it a heavy duty bolt or is it a small allen bolt that can be stripped easily if the person is not careful. Also is there any type of indicator to tell you if the spring is adjusted just like the one on the otherside or do you basically have to adjust the suspension and drive it around the block and then measure the height with measuring tape? Sorry again for all the questions as I am considering to buy these coilovers.

    Thanks

The screw is a small set screw does not take much to hold it in place. In the past I have taken measurements of one side and match it to the other. Like when you thread them count the threads etc...or use a good old fashioned tape measure. I hope this helps you out some more and not a problem.

I Meet with Branden last Wed. and he said that production would start Today on the coilovers and we should have them within few weeks. I Talked with Anthony about it on Friday and Left a message for Nick this morning. I will have some solid dates in the next 2 or three days.

I sent out an email to the account that is associated with the paypal account that was used to pay for your deposit, if that email account is not used very often please check it and send me a return email stating you received the message. As soon as I get solid dates and times I will send another email with instructions and then I will post it on the forums. If you notice on the GB list we have 2 more people that have signed up for the gb also.

Again as soon as I get the info from Ksports I will post it up in here.

I received an email from Nick the owner of Ksport USA and ...

We should have the first set of coilovers here next week. We will then install them On Casey's Jeep and make sure everything works the perfect and then I will put the final coilover order in. From prior experience after the final order has been put in we should see product within 2 weeks.

I am super excited about this...check your emails!
