i recently heard a rumor that Ekool was no longer in charge/control of his forums anymore???? is this true????? anyone know anything???? just curious, as this struck me as strange news.......:erm:
Yeah it was horrible....He was doing a one man mule show in Chihuahua Mexico and in a moment of shear bliss he pushed back and stabbed his brain and died instantly....All with a huge smile on his Fuckin face....Degenerate salami smuggler :thongue2:
Dead on Ron the cherokeesrt8 site has just gone plain unchecked OurZoo was doing the best he could to moderate it but since his move he has disappeared and anything goes there.
Oh crap you've gone and done it there are certain key words that puts Ron in a tizzy and makes him go off the wall and make strange posts and that is one of those key words:ronlove:
hmm, news to me. im a mod on his cali forum. just he recently he upgraded the whole site. but it is true that side from the 3 mods over there, there is no admin presence. hell if i p.m one of the admin it can take a good while before i get a response. for some reason right now my mod account wont let me confirm mod actions it just keeps cycling through the thank you for logging in and please log in to confirm action screens.
What most don't understand is that those "red sites" don't care about their members. Its about profit to them. Special membership, that you have to pay for, just to get rid of those banners. Why? Because having all those non-site related banners generate them money... clicking on them generate them money. To offset the cost they force members to pay for "Premium Membership" just to get rid of the banners. The outrageous vendor priced packages and many other aspects members seem to not be aware of. They don't flintch when it comes to banning someone. You get banned with no warning. Are the admins, supermods, moderators really involved with their members? Eh, not really... most (NOT ALL) are on power trips. The admins don't even participate... I've yet to see one. Hence why its not about members... its about how much profit they can make from site hits.
i cant speak for the other forums but anyone here who is on caliberforums will tell you thats not the case there. since we got appointed mods we involved the members in pretty much any decision, it would take a lot to get me to ban a member, and instead of deleting threads that upset some members but others like we find ways to make it work for everyone. i get what your saying but atleast at our forum that isnt the case. aside from the whole issue that caused the exodus to here everyone has been pretty happy there and has returned since the problem was taken care of, which by the way the decision on how to fix that issue was partly mod choice but largely was from what the members asked us to do. i could care less of how corporate the owners of the forum are, ill get my mod privilege removed before i err on any other side than the members.
