Heres what we have to put up with in SO CA as far as drag strips. Irwindale is 1/8 mile Fontana is 1/4 mile. Every 1 knows if you want fast times in the 1/4 you dont go to Fontana you go to Famoso drag strip in Bakersfeild CA. As 1 of our JEEP racers just went Fontana to run the 1/4 miles for the 1st time and ill show the diff what there is in the 1/8 between Irwindale and Fontana. Ill give you both his times run on diff days (2 weeks apart) and there DA. The distance between the 2 is about 30 miles. All in all FONTANA SUCKS. There been reports that Fontana is up hill and from what this shows it has to be. The traction and up hill shows what we have to put up with unless we want to drive 150 + miles 1 way to FAMOSO DRAG STRIP that is 625 ft above sea level with better DA than Fontana untill summer comes.
