Im trying to get up another drag meet in OCT and hope we can get more cars out there this time. I no its hard to get out to race on a work night but thats what were stuck with. Well IRWINDALE only runs on thursday nights from 4pm till 10pm. Here are the dates we can race on in OCT. OCT 1/8/15/22/29. All we have to do is pick 1 of the dates. I can go any of them as im retired. I picked OCT as it should be cooler than in SEPT. I no there will be at least 6 JEEPS there for sure if theres no problems and was pmed by 2 others from STACK. Its great because we just about have the same mods and the only other diff is the race wt. Once we get a date that every1 can make ill start a list. I would like to get all diff kinds this time other than just JEEPS. All cars are welcome and CHRIS said he will try and bring out his blown CHALLENGER and im sure SARGE will have his N/A 426 JEEP there as well. Hope to see every 1 there. That what most of us have. Heres what most of us have, CAI,PREDITOR CAN TUNE,PREDITOR/CMR TUNE AND B&G TUNE. Most have cat back exhaust except me i have stock exhaust. Its all in fun come on out.

Im going, but i might not be racing... had to take the whole valve train apart to chase down a phantom noise last weekend... My butthole is still puckered from the thought of dropping a valve... dont know if it will unpucker enough for me to go out and hammer it... but we will see... im going to spectate and help out for sure...
NO problem as its more important to make sure your ride is safe to drive. Ill be there around 1pm to let the jeep cool for at least 3 hrs be they open at 4 pm to teck then race at 5pm. I always bring 20 lbs of ice im bags and another 20 in the cooler to ice the maniflod between runs. It looks like the DA will be around 1800 to 2000 ft with the humidity around 55% at 5pm then as temps drop the humidity will go up and we will slow down a bit. I did some figuring and last time the DA was 3106 ft and the calulator said i dropped 46 hp from sea level. Hope you can make it even to just watch.
But if you flog on it and it runs great afterwards, think about how much your mind will be relieved. No speculation whether it will or won't stand up to the daily tasks that the wifey and lil'big'jay will put it through....:future: hehe...angel/devil on his shoulders....
HAHA like i said... im in the air still... I wont be off work until 4:30pm earlist... then i have to head home, get the car and drive out.... so i wont be there until about 6pm... then it needs to cool down... im going to take the car out tomorrow night to wash it... ill flog it a bit to see if the pucker effect is gone... see how she runs... either way ill be there at 6pm on thursday... ready to hang out... and watch Darren take all the smack talking LAMC mustang guys down... LOL GRRRR i really want to run....
Will someone have a decent tire pressure gauge? My "good" one only goes up to 20psi (good for slicks, SUPER accurate). And all I have is the little dollar pen style in my DD truck...
Currently the DA is back up to 1500... dang.. it was 930 a few hours ago... the relative humidity is taking a big crap from the heat...
