They said they could tune my twin turbos. They said they were meticulous and stood behind their work no matter what. So I made the 350mi. trip, twice, so much for through! Over $3000 spent with them, lodging, car rental, etc. and this is what I got.I have asked them many times over these several months to help me out but they simply ignore my emails. They are even refusing to send me a copy of the tune that cost me so much. More on this at www.Qualityrockers.com/InjectedEngineering.htm The result below, an new engine, turbos and over $12k more.
Aric and I reached a mutual resolution. Actually, the hardest part was agreeing on how to comunicate with one another. After that, terms were easily reached.
Thank you to each and everyone of you here at the connection for your support!!!

Yes, I now have a BES forged low comp block with matched RLD high flo heads and cam. Doing some tuning/logging but dont want to put the turbos on untill the oil proves free off new motor debris so it's straight pipe loud!

Erik, since I had no cats to stop stuff the ring lands and probably some welding slag ran through the turbos.

Wow....From my experience and others....automotive groups such as this are rampant. be quadruple sure who you're dealing with, be quadruple sure they are what they say, be quadruple sure they have a good reputation, be quadruple sure on calling past customers, be quadruple sure about EVERYTHING.....the aftermarket automotive industry as a whole, are full of pond scum...not all, but many many of them out there, buyer beware.

2 questions Howdee ... first off sorry for your misfortune, I hope everything works out for you ...

question 1 .. $450 for a tune sounds cheap to me, especially considering it involves twin turbos! maybe I'm wrong but, did that thrown up a red flag to you in the beginning? .. I paid $275 for my tune and I have slightly less engine mods then you (intake, exhaust) lol.

question 2 .. knowing the possibility of grenading your motor (take Ron .. did it twice) .. why didnt you have cats on there to protect your turbos?? or at least some kinda safe guard ..

just asking ... good luck again

Big dif between $275 and $450. Actually it was $600 for the first hr. as $150 dyno time ran concurrently. Then I was hit up for more midstream. Tuning part alone cost $900. A tune I'm locked out of and refused a copy.

If you can find someone that's INTERESTED in your project...most shops in my area are Non-Mopar friendly, and basically think what we have is a joke and not worth their time. (just my personal area experience). Hope it all works out for you and you get the attention you deserve.

What does small claims court go up to where you're at? I think it might be 5K here? By filing in small claims maybe you could subpoena access to the tune to have "your automotive expert" look at it? or as critical evidence in your case? I don't know how that works, just thinking...

Damn Howard, I am terribly sorry for your troubles. ugh...

It is a crying shame that Injected is trying to run/ignore this issue. Glad you have the car back on the road.

Quick has given some good advice in filing a small claims suit. Good luck buddy.

Not sure if this forum can help much since Injected is not a SV here, but you can certainly ask and we will do what we can.

I am a long time Injected Engineering customer. They have modified my stock 98 Lincoln Mark VIII into a 4000 pound 11 second sleeper over the past few years. Their professionalism, workmanship, integrity, and customer service is second to none.

I have had issues with my build, if you can imagine, trying to hot rod a luxury car that has zero performance parts specifically made for a Lincoln, and Injected Engineering resolved every single issue to my satisfaction.

Aric and Ryan have gone way out of their way to make sure I am happy, and have spent countless hours consulting, researching, and building my dream car. It is very much appreciated too. A lot of thought and time went into my build, and it shows.

I hope this situation can be resolved privately between the parties involved, as Aric and Ryan with Injected Engineering are good people, and the only place I will take my car to be serviced.

Nothing like getting some FREE advertising for a Company that is NOT a Supporting Vendor on this forum. WOW!

ummm... Your very first post? You just happened to be browsing our forum and ran across this thread and decided to join up to share?

I can understand if Aric and Ryan want to keep it private and handle it privately but I've got to wonder why they feel the need to send "people" over to mitigate the situation. They might as well log in as themselves. Maybe they already did.
