i know it's an old question but can anyone tell me what year the ESP totally off function was incorporated into the LX SRTs? i thought they all had it and pretty much the only real visible software difference was that some didn't have the 0-60 function.
I thought the totally off function was there from day 1. It was removed in 2008 or 2009 maybe? I have a 2006 (build date 1/25/06) and it has it. The 0-60 was added in 2007 or 2008.
hold those 2 down for a few seconds until the display changes.... when you start seeing the different readout on the EVIC....you can scroll through them using your steering wheel controls...and you should come up to the 0-60 timer...it will say 0.00 i think if you have never used it.
On the srt8's there are 2 setting of the esp. If you push the button quick it takes off I beleve 60% of the esp. If you push and hold the button it will then take off somewhere around 80% of the ESP. In order to have no esp at all you would have to get a cmr tune and then it will only come off 100% when you push and hold the button and hear the ding bell. 0-60 function started with the 2008 lx cars all of them I have a 300 AWD v-6 and it has the 0-60 function lol.
