Welcome to the Connection man! I think you'll like it here...one thing is, with our team here...nothing is ignored.
Dont know if I remember you from the red site....I was on there a lot back in the day. Then all hell broke loose and we moved around a bit to a few new places...
I lurk a lot. Only posting when necessary or when people bump me for questions. I've been on enough forums to know the emptiest barrel makes the most noise... Anyways, I was probably one of the first members of the "red" site. rainmaker Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Chitown Posts: 446 I'm sure we've run into each other over there before...
Yeah looks like we joined about the same time Hotscott7 Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 601 There werent many people around back then...To bad the site had to turn into a nightmare...
When I joined the red site in october, it was really nice. People were cool and helpful. It was actually the first forum of any kind I had ever joined. It is too bad it went to pot.
Yeah that was a pretty rare event IMO. It had smart/helpful people that were willing to be pioneers and post their findings. Heck even the Engineering chat sessions were useful back then... It's pretty rare to find a web forum that's really that useful (without having to wade through a bunch of politics, drama, know-it-alls, or BS). I blame the lack of true moderators for the fall of that site.... Just my opinion...
Exactly, some of the best members that forum had were either banned or left because of the communism. Now whats left? A bunch of newbs who dont know a spark plug from a cigarette lighter.:stars:
Welcome Rainmaker and Mango good to see you guys come over here I know you have a wealth of knowledge to share.
Hal, if you're slow, what are the fast guys running? 7's? Glad to see some guys from LXforums on here too. Got a good feeling about this place...
I'm fat too. My reflexes are so back I launch on the 1st yellow and have never red lighted. Everyone beats me except Ron. He loses to me out of respect because I'm his etiquette sensei. I might beat a few with my new setup.
Hell he's been holding his breath for soooooooo long, he needs to change his name to papa smurf.
