Why do photos have to be so small to be posted on here? I don't know much about computers, so thats why I'm asking.

I'm not even sure what the photo size rules are to be honest.

What I do, and many people do now, is open a free www.photobucket.com account. You can upload any picture from your computer, and then you just click on the "image" coding, which is automatically "copied" for you. Then you can just "paste" it into any thread you've got on practically any forum.

I'm sure others will be along with other suggestions, too.

Yep, I'm guessing the "Manage Attachments" settings are set as default from VBulletin. Which isn't all that bad, because it saves a lot of bandwidth for the site (just by taking up less space for pictures on the server). This site is pretty large with all the stuff they have on here.... Chat, Webrides, Arcade, etc. Limiting the size of pictures helps a lot. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have to keep upping their bandwidth from the ISP, which costs lots of $$$$.

I load some pretty big pictures from photobucket. But maybe your talking about avatar or signature photos.

Photobucket can resize them to an appropriate size.
