I heard on the radio a couple hours ago, Some congress woman wrote a bill allowing aids infected convicts can donate their sperm for artificial insemination. We pay these people to run our country? :surprise:

What gets me is regardless of whether it passes into law or not SOMEONE thought this was a good idea and SOMEONE took the time an and energy to write it into a bill. SOMEONE is wasting taxpayers time and money on stupidity and that burns me up! And she's not alone is the problem. Jeez, how can someone, ANYONE, possibly think this is a good idea?!?! Stupidity runs amok around the world but nowhere is it more prevelant than in our own congress.

    Or course.

Ahh. As usual, the whole story wasn't told.

"Legislation by Sen. Carole Migden, D-San Francisco, allows sperm from a man with HIV to be used to artificially inseminate a wife or partner who does not have the disease if the woman consents and the sperm is processed to minimize the possibility of infection."

people have lost their mind...and the sad thing is...people who tell the truth and say it how it is...would NEVER be elected...especially someone who was TRULY partisan...

I never said it was OK. I still think it's :supergay:

The original post in this thread made it out to be something that (as far as I can see) it's not.
