Congrats on the new job!!! I had my SRT for TWO years before my first MOD. I have NOW had my SRT three years this month and yesterday finally got the Predator to work ~ was so dissapointed; took months to get the thing to work for me ~ Now my SRT is finally running way better.

During this process I did find out some interesting things though...
    1. The computer program for my SRT was data logged on 4/20/05

    2. The manufacture date of my 06 SRT is June 2005

(I believe mine is one of the 1st every produced!)

    Nice with the job situation!
Now I know Chris CAI are a thing of beauty, but what you really want is a blower...
That way YOU will go "...holy sh*t..." the first few times you put the hammer down, then you will hear that same thing from your passangers every time you go into boost...
I myself embarrased a Porsche Cayenne Turbo last weekend, extremly satisfying...

Someone in the biz, works for a performance company that has deep roots in the HEMI stroker market, and isn't pimping one of them in his own DD is sacrilegious....STROKER TIME!

lol believe me man - I'd love to, but even for me parts are not free so while I could get a smoking deal on a stroker, it's just not happening (yet). ;)

Yeah that's not in the "light mods" category, Fredrik! haha

Sure I would WANT to go 426 Inertia Stroker with a Magnacharger or Kenne Bell and a 200 shot of N2O and blow up my axles by taking my foot of the brake but unless I win the lottery tonight, that's not happening in the foreseeable future :bang:

Lol T it was always there! Just on hiatus after modding the R/T. I won't go overboard with the SRT but I can't leave it stock. ;)

I wanted to add a cam at 100000 miles but don't know about that yet. We'll see how the new job goes - maybe it'll be a birthday present to myself next year. Then at 200000 miles it's stroker time. Maybe. :D

Bwahaha how do you think I paid for heads and cam on my R/T? I could do that - the problem is not Stu, it's with the real boss at home ;):D

You really don't have to break the bank, and will really livin up the car and driving experience.
    BB Exhaust
    Intake
    Cathcan
    Tuner
    180 Thermo
    SRT Max cam only
    MTCM

Healthy kick in the pants, and can be done in stages. The longer it takes the better, you always have something else to look forward to.

You are a mind reader. Except for the MTCM, those are the exact mods I've had in mind, even down to the cam choice which was obvious for me. That ^^ makes for a fine running SRT, makes it sound like a hell of a beast and will indeed not break the bank. The biggest expense is by far the cam install. I wish I could learn how to do it myself then that would be problem solved :)

I don't know your comfort level, but it's not that it's difficult, just time consuming. Especially the first time. With you having the extra vehicle, may be something to think about doing yourself, and/or with a friend with mechanical aptitude. You have the service manual, a ton of resources, and Stu is a call away.

Yeah I should do a web-cam set up of the engine bay and have Stu on bluetooth - I'll just be the hands and he'll be the brains. LOL.
Unfortunately I have zero proper tools, nor a garage with any space to do the work in. My comfort level is changing a CAI at this point, so pee-wee mod level. I would love to help on a cam install somewhere so I could hopefully learn something.

Ok mods underway. Slightly different direction. Picked up a used Airhammer intake for cheap and now looking for Predator and Tstat (don't need USB cable or power supply).
Got a lead on a good deal for an exhaust option as I found out from Bob at Blastin Bob that the 4 inch tips he sells doesn't fit on a stock SRT without removing the resonators....sigh.
So need catch can, exhaust, Predator and Tstat and maybe one or two underhood dress up (or rather dress down as I'm going for the blacked out look) and I'll be set. For now.
