Yep, not even 1 week after i put on HHP heads/cam, today i snapped a axle i think. Was at a light, light went green, i medium throttled it and BAM! ABS,BAS,ESP lights all came on and the car was going nowhere! There was some serious grooves in the pavement from the cross traffic. The tires hooked, spun and re-hooked and went bang. I have the 555's for street.
Thanks ron, i am happy to join! lol But, do the 1/2 shafts drop when they break? There was nothing hanging down. I looked over and over. Nothing hanging and nothing leaking ect.

Ouch. You should be able to get gorilla to send you a new key? Just as long as you have the serial number??? Jack the car up and take a look from the under side. Bring a flashlight. haha
I imagine you probably broke the axle earlier... but not all the way. Then it was tearing a little more...... every time it was "torqued" enough comng up from a dead stop. Then it finished off according to your story. ..
I never would put DR's on until i upgraded the half shafts. Just went through tires often...Upgraded shafts and bearing hubs from BMC with the 09 kit they offer...excellent deal. Same time I did the shafts, i added the 555's, no problems. If you need a stock shaft, i'de be happy to send you one.
Looks like BMC has a nice offering, with something for everybody. I've got no shame bout throwing another plug in for excellent deals... $370 for a L/R pair of OEM axles... wow! When did they get so cheap? $514 for an upgraded set (600hp?) including new hubs... wow! And of course the Paramount unlimited.
