Well got both the headlight (low beam) and fog lights installed. Kit is from XenonDepot or now known as KBcarstuff It's the 6500K for both, plug and play well sorta, getting it all plugged in is simple its hiding the wires and routing them that takes forever, I removed the front grille to run the passenger side hot wires for a more hidden look and boy are the BRIGHT
HID's are AMAZING my friend...can see great now!... seeing this makes me not want to wait to put mine in!
if they are anything like they look in those pics, you will be getting hi-beamed for sure!! hahahahaha after i installed my kits i got from Total Lighting Solutions (supporting vendor) i pissed off all kinds of other drivers!!! hahahaha
Oh yeah, I've already got flashed by oncomers, BUT the ones in front of you sure get out of the way alot quicker for some reason and Hi-beams who needs stinkin Hi-Beams with HID-LOL

I want the HID's more for looks than anything. I can see great with the stock lighting and don't like to be high beamed by oncomers sinve I hate that myself...what do you think you'd recommend K-wise? I don't get it...is 6500K very bright? Looks good bytw Tex. mee likey.
The higher in Kelvin the less lighting u get. A 30000k will give off barely any light. IMO the best looking is a 6000k and you get the most usable light while still getting an awesome light. 4100-4800k is what you see on oem cars.
The Kelvin scale is used to measure color temperature or hue (so more is NOT better or brighter). Midday sunshine is about 5000 Kelvin and about 6500 Kelvin is considered daylight white. The lower the temperature (which is strangely considered warmer) go towards yellow then red. The higher the temperature (which is strangely considered cooler) goes towards blue then violet. 7500 Kelvin is extremely blue (especially at night) and should only be used in daylight and is not suited (or legal) for night driving (but who cares they look SWEET) So in other words the bigger the number does not always mean brighter and to me the BRIGHTEST is probably the 5000K which is a real pure crisp white output and will blind oncomers and put the fear in the deer If you want them just for looks for with the 8000k I had a set of 8k MCullochs on my truck and they looked awsome and were still bright and the blue was nice Here is an HID chart for reference and would make a good STICKY if we had a lighting section: There are higher numbers out now over 10K and I've even seen the Aston Martin purple look out now as well
One more thing to consider and could be a drawback for some doing HID lights. IF you live in an area that gets alot of fog or is prone to bad fog conditions under any circumstances DO NOT GET HID LIGHTS or at least get the yellow fog HID's. Take for instance my 6500K kit, in fog conditions all it will do is pick up every drop of water particle in the fog and make it nearly impossible for you and oncomers to see, it will look like you have 2 big light sabers out in front, just FYI guys
