hi, one of the few off-hwy SRTs in existence checking in

ok, so I am not completely normal...

1st of all I am a MOPAR parts manager @ DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula, in Temecula CA (SoCal)
2nd, I have a Subaru as a daily driver and a Dodge SRT4 as a weekend, throw it sidewaz in the dirt, vehicle...

my SRT4 is one of five former MOPAR SCCA Pro-Rally cars that were built in 2001/2002 and set the import world on notice that domestic cars could compete in the rough and tumble sport called rally...

yeah - good catch

the story goes that the first round of pre-production SRT4s (and all 5 of the rally cars) were built with the smooth nose... then in an effort to make the SRT4 look more aggressive the nostrils were added before any actual production cars got built - most of the rally cars now have production front fascias on them as the lower lip gets abused (mine is kinda missing) so they have nostrils - I am torn and like the oddballness so I may use a Neon 'SRT Design' version that I have found is exactly like my current one when I replace it before next season...
