Yes, it’s still there, I have been going to the original Murillos since 1974. It does have a great kitchen, and I think it’s better than the one on Monte Vista Ave.

 

Which one did they add the brewery to? If memory serves me correctly, they had a small Hops field across the street as well????

Leaving in the morning for Folsom. Just got back from Murillos. If you get up to Sacramento check out Kico's on Arden. Best Mexican food I've eaten anywhere. And I eat Mexican at least 6 times a week. They still use lard.

 

Hal, I will give it a try, I have cut back to only 4 times a week!

They do have a Micro brewery accros I-80, which is BJ's. The newer Murillos only has a bar.

 

I think I am thinking of the one in Marysville? It's been too long since I have been through these two cities. lol

Guess I will need to plan a trip this summer.

Speaking of Mexican Restaurants, I tried Javier's at Irvine Spectrum a couple weeks ago, besides the eye candy I can only think of one word...........overrated. Now I tried this other sit down place called SuperMex, that was good!
