Hemi 911 On The Road With Techco Twin Screw

The Pirelli tires that John was telling me about, that are sitting there in the shop. John told me that they were running them on the Techco RD Charger. They are stacked in the corner by the door.

How true that is, Techco is the design company for the blower. They make the blower for SMS.

Hello from Auckland, my status is unchanged for the last four weeks; I am still here in New Zealand on a business trip. Hemi911 has been covered in the garage almost since I picked it up from Techco. The only real road testing I have performed is the drive back up to Vacaville, and a little bit around town before I left, then it was parked. I leave tomorrow night headed back home, I’m sure the wife has a few plans for me when I get back. Then it will be time to uncover Hemi911 and put it back on the road. It has really been a rough month reading about the other Connection members describing the details of their Techco installs, and how well they are performing. I’m with you brother, it’s time for some action and finally getting back to experiencing the acceleration of a Techco supercharger!! Hope to see you either at the Techco meet or greet or the Spring Fling, I will be at both events.

 

What the hell? How come you can't make video's when you are in New Z? haha

HI Hal, I'll be in the office on Tuesday finishing my trip report, but lunch is still open to you if your available on Wednesday or Thursday!

 

I really did miss some golden opportunities to get pictures of the right hand drive 300 SRT8’s over here. I just did have my camera with me when I saw them. There are a lot of motor heads over here also with a passion for fast cars also. The only thing I will miss is the summer over here in January. It will be really good to get home Ron, see you in a few weeks at Techco.

 

I don't know why but everytime I see Vacaville I think of Murillos and I get hungry...........

 

Wow, that is way too funny; it was not more than an hour ago, I had dinner at the original Murillos next to Fosters.
