K i have vibration in the clutch pedal and at 60mph the car will run at 2grand and then if i give it any more gas it will just rev up and not go any faster. I dont have a clue. My dad thinks the clutch is just out the car has
46,000 miles on it. Is there any problems with hydrolics in the clutch. I do not WOT or race very often so please let me know any ideas.

If your in gear, push the gas and the RPM's rise, but the speed doesn't, that is a sure sign your clutch is gone.

It will run all the way to 60mph but wont get any higher. and no matter wich gear i select it tends to always slip and it stays around the 2grand mark. This took place casualy going into 3rd gear. no warning signs or anything

When your driving, your not driving hard, right??

~2000 RPM is when the turbo starts spooling if your in it.....

Ok basic story line. My brother went to town and claims that when he went to 3rd it acted like it wouldn't then He parked it and called me. I drove it home and when I got on the HWY I couldn't go over 60mph it acted like the clutch was slipping but the boost gage when I would push the gas in would read 5psi so it was seeing some sort of force acting on it to cause it to give out boost but it wont do anything.

Dad went down and said when he let out on the pedal he could feel the vibration and it felt like something was spinning so....

Lulz...sorry...I didn't mean you...I was refering to your bro....

But your probably right about the prior owner. I'm at 70,XXX and my stock clutch is still holding fine....But I am the original owner, and I know how to drive a stick.

it just dosn't make sense to me on y all of a sudden it would just do that. It has shown no warning signs! A couple months ago I was smelling someting like the clutch was burning but I was driving it fine and it wasn't showing any signs of clutch slip. And it only did this after some long drives.

What is the best clutch I should buy for the money? Modern performance seems to have several to choos from.

if you're stock or mostly stock and plan on staying that way then a stock clutch, or possibly the upgraded mopar would probably be your best bet. there's no reason to have a clutch that is going to be harsher on the street and can hold 500tq when you only make 300......

The Mopar Performance clutch will be good for anything from stock to Stage 3. If you plan on going with a big turbo or majorly tweaking your STage 3 setup, then you should talk to Aaron, like everyone else said.
