Yes they are. They will melt, sieze into your head, or better yet the electrode breaks into pieces and takes out your whole motor. Let's just say I learned the hard way years back on a Eagle Talon TSi I used to have.

That is what I'm running on my car at the same gap and on my wife's S3 SRT-4 same plugs but at .32 gap.

i'll change out my spark plugs and see what happenes.. The only other things that would cause boost leaks like this would have to be a wastegate. I thought the stage 3 wastegates were good, but maybe not mine. Check all the lines and and all the piping and everything seemed to be fine even after a boost leak test.

The black line that runs to the intake, I took that off and capped it off where it connects to the brake booster line I blieve.

You need to put ALL your lines the way they were. What doesn't make sense is everything was fine when you had the Greddy bov on the car, then when you took it off and went to the stock surge valve you are only boosting 6-9lbs. If read correctly then either your lines are routed wrong or you do infact have a boost leak.

Removing a Greddy bov and going back to stock then your boost is reading low and not where it used to be isn't a cause from the wga. If indeed you were boosting fine with the Greddy bov.

What kind of boost leak tester are you using?

What are you pressurizing the system to?

How are you performing your boost leak tests?
