I took my greddy bov and installed the stock cold pipe and surge valve. After doing so I can only boost 6psi now. I did nothing eles to the car. Anyone have a clue on what happened or what I can do to figure out what happened?

I have stage 3 on the if that makes any difference

I have also check all the vac lines, tighten all the hoses, installed the pink line. I'm out of ideas.......... Help!

it's got to be a vaccum line. sounds like you're running directly off the wga. recheck all your lines and hoses, make sure that everything is in place. check the lines going to the the back of the turbo, under the manifold, even the break booster line.....

Crazy that I now get a boost leak after taking the bov off.........

It could honestly be something completely un-related, just coincedental.

could it be the surge valve? I put the mopar plate back in the car till my new bov arrives, since I sold the greddy. Its kinda weird if I floor the car I don't hear the mopar I hear a higher pitched sound like I have a different bov.

I seem to have another problem, when I fully press down the clutch I feel lots of vibs under my foot, and can hear a knocking sound coming from the tranmission? My buddy said he could feel it through the trans.

Now when I look at the boost gauge it flutters a little then drops as I get higher in the rpm.

I don't understand why you put the Mopar plate on when you could of just put the stock surgevalve on. Less places for it to leak and your car won't be sneezing off all the time.

I bet you installed the Mopar piece wrong....

You don't have a tester!? Come on now! lol

Test it and listen for leaks! I am doing another test sometime this week on my car before the dyno! :thumb2:

Checked all the lines everything is all fine. I think the wastegate is bad, I can move the arm back and forth without to much effort? Which after market wategate would you guys recommend?

If your running the stock wga, then you should be running it on pcm controlled boost. So you should have the green line from the solenoid going to the back of the turbo. The black line should be going to the wga. There should also be a bleeder filter on the last nipple of that solenoid. Without that bleeder filter you will be limited in boost which thats what sounds like its happening. I learn this from a friend stock pcm w/s2 wga who removed it and ended up just boosting 4-7lbs.

I have all the vac lines to where they need to be. I had 2 other srt-4 owners look at the lines and compared mine to theres and its all the same.

I installed the greddy today to see if that made a difference, and no. Instead of hitting 6 psi I got 8psi. So its not the lines. Cause I put everything the way it was before I had this problem.

    Yes.

what brand of spark plugs are in there and at what gap

Spark Plug wire brand and how old are they

    Aftermarket coilpack?

with stage 3 you should be boostin 20 psi.
