I have no experience with that adapter, but is the brass fitting NPT? If so, it needs teflon tape or paste, I prefer paste. Regardless, looks like Ralph got you taken care of. Kudos to him and best of luck to you getting the beast back on the road!
Thanks again for the follow up today Ralph!! I hope to have this all buttoned up late Monday night & take pics. Once the car is mobile Monday night, early Tuesday I begin the following, and hope to be 100% done by the end of the day Thursday: -Full cooling system flush to get out whatever is cloggin it -New painted coolant resevoir bottle installed -Finish CF diffuser install -Oil & filter change -Cover dual gauge pillar in suede to match interior & headliner -Install Innovate Wideband -Install both Aeroforce gauges -Install Underdrive pulley -Install upgraded Mopar motor mounts -Install new custom lower door pockets (can't wait for you guys to see these) and reinstall door panels LOTS of little touches coming!!!! (since I'm not doing a widebody, nor F/I, lol)
Dealer will be doing the coolant flush, but I will supervise the coolant bottle install, as I don't want them to scratch a damn thing. I can do the bottle myself (as I did on the 300), but it'll be nice to have their help. I'll fix the CF diffuser on my own, once I get it on Walker's lift. Goolsby Customs has my doors right now, but those are easy to put back on myself, as I took them off. Walker will be welding the bung for the o2 wideband sensor. And he will be doing the gauge install as well, that's not something that I feel comfortable messing with. But I will be with him at the shop while he does this. Oil & filter change, I will do (just did it on the 300). Motor mounts & pulley I'd like to do on my own. But I'm gonna need some help (as well as with the swaybars & end links I'm about to put on the 300). I know what you're getting at Ron, lol. I've actually been doing some of my own wrenching on my cars lately, on the "lighter" stuff. I've talked with Walker, and he knows I'm trying to learn. So on these installs, he's agreed to show me around, and tell me what to do, while helping, but allowing me to get in there and get dirty a little, lol. I actually replaced a couple foglights on my own a couple weeks ago, and this fuel rail fyasko, along with my cooling system demons, have taught me a lot.
Wideband and 2 gauges makes 3 gauges with a 2 pod a-pillar, doesn't add up to me. Am I missing something? I've had a 3 pod for 4 years. Wideband, N2O pressure, and fuel pressure.
Aeroforce Gauges (2) & Innovate wideband sensor. Went with the pillar pod Dave. I totally agree with your thoughts on the overhead placement, so that was a no go.....
