    I have been researching into getting a Dodge (neon) SRT 4 and in the process of getting one but i need help on first mods to get done when i get it.

    1) I have read that people tend to lean toward suspension as there first mod...I need to know if its in my best intrest to get the Mopar Stage 1 suspension kit. It looks like only the springs are in this kit and did not know if i need the rear/front strut bars, coilovers (expensive as hell). Any ideas on which brand is best for suspension, gonna be a street car.
    2) My second question is i will eventually upgrade the turbo to a AGP 50" trim turbo. The setup im thinking is turbine housing at .63 A/R, 4-3 reducer, and twin ball bearing. Almost a 3k turbo...but i need to get 3" intake, 3"exhaust, external BOV and fuel upgrades are a must. I was wondering what else to get upgraded, before i get the big turbo that is. I have set a goal in my head of getting at LEAST 400whp. Any help with constructing this beast would be appricated!
    :thanks:
    sorry for the spelling errors, at work without a ABC check in any program...

    IDK what your budget restraints are...but if you are planning on spending all the money on upgrading to a big turbo. IMO, don't cheap out on the suspension...Just spend the money on a set of coil-overs. You can get BC's for about $1000...just don't get the inverted style. I loved my BC, I just wish I'd have bought the regular ones and not the inverted. I didn't hear about all the problems with the inverted ones, until after mine started going bad. I haven't really heard anything bad about the regular style.

    Also if you want a cheap sway bar upgrade, Mopar has a "poor mans upgrade" kit, it's a PT GT Cruiser front sway bar, and an ACR rear swaybar, for around $250...if you can find a local junkyard, with a wrecked SRT, you can grab the rear swaybar, and go with a double rear swaybar...I believe there is a thread here with a how-to, and a couple of guys here are running it, and really love it.

    EDIT: Oh...and :welcome: to the C.

    Aaah first post!! Welcome to the C!!!

    :band::band::band::band:

    for suspention if you like how the car rides stock get the mopar S1. it rides like stock and only a 1 in drop.
    but coilovers are worth the investment.

    as for sways the Welfare bars like Lox said will be the best for you buck. what you will also need are new set of endlinks and bushings. it tightens up the car really nice. the next thing you can do for suspention is strut tower braces front and rear. the DS-2 and mopar are the best ones. unless you get a tri-point brace.

    I would start by getting all the basic bolt-ons prior to even think going big turbo.

    -Intake, 3" exhaust, Big intercooler or more efficient direct fit, external BOV, hard pipe intercooler hose, tie-rap all vaccum lines, ACT clutch, suspension get coilovers....if you get springs you will change them eventually for coilovers anyways, wider wheels and better tires, swaybars....(strut bars are for look only lol)

    start with that and then you can consider going big turbo.
