Help a F/I rooke! I have questions! (Nitrous)

    Even the most basic of nitrous liek the Zex 125 kit requires constant attention. For someone like you, i'de stay all N/A. F/I and spray can get complex in a hurry. You need to be able to diagnose problems, tweak the tweak spots, listen for tell tell signs of what may be going on and understand what's happening as it happens. Anytime you have a power adder, it's more shit and a whole different ball game. I'm a fan of K.I.S.S. especially if you aren't knowledgeable and capable and tooled up for it. Not casting stones dude, just keepin it real and looking out.
    On th other side...whatever you decide, read read read and understand what you're doing. Edu-mication my brutha!

    chase - i was originally going to be a nitrous junky, but when i really thought about it, i wanted power all the time, whenever i was driving the car. that is why i went with a blower.

    Don't be offended Chris. He just wanted advice from somebody who actually knew what they were talking about.

    Besides, the questions isn't all the difficult. It is not like he's asking who to contact in S Florida for a CMR tune.

    Thanks for all the help guys. Your advice helped me make my decision to stay N/A for now. It just doesn't seem that nitrous will "feed the need" that I have for my street driven sled. I'll hold out for a blower......

    And Chris. Didn't mean to get you all butt-hurt. I just meant to thank Dan for all the links and extra advice. Plus, I sent him a PM on LXF to come over and pitch in, that's all. :D

    btw - not sure where to get a good cmr tune in florida or even who to ask????? :eek:oh:
