I bought my car back in Feb 2011 but just stumbled across this site today. 2010 Challenger SRT8 in black with stripe delete, sunroof, RER radio w/ nav. Mods in sig but to save ya time: - Razors Edge front strut bar - Mopar CAI - BT Catch Can - Diablo Predator "91 octane w/ CAI" canned tune with fan temp settings adjusted down abit - Jet 180 t-stat - Solo X-3 catback exhaust (makes car sound the way it should have from factory) - Front n rear cameras (waiting on Lockpick to connect em) - Remote controlled flipup front license plate (mounted under chin spoiler) - Mopar splash guards I'm interested in performance mods that will pass CARB emissions adopted in Wa State. Only 5 counties do it and whataya know I live in 1 of em doh! I've done a fair amount of research already but always open to suggestions. A mild cam (SRT Max/Fri Littleboy/HHP Stage 1?), 87mm tb, a lil porting, etc
Welcome to the site Fred....emmision testing depends on how they perform the test...inspection by looking for cats, etc...plug into car's PCM port or sniff for pollutons.......most mods advise if they are CARB compliant...
:stupid: Welcome to the "C", Fred. A few Super Charger companies are CARB certified. Magnuson, Vortech, and Kenne Bell... Most others, such as in your list, are easy to hide with a good tune.
Wellcome Fred, as Ron said there are several that is certified, I run a Vortech myself and there is no way that will be certified here but it only sits with 4 bolts so after undoing them and disconnecting 2 hoses I just put an airfilter on and I´m good for inspection, and here they do the sniff test! :welcome: to the Connection from Dublin, CA. Good luck with the mods. I'm wondering what I'm going to have to revert to stock to pass smog pretty soon. My Charger is THAT old now.
