u might want to check the plug that goes to the multi function switch in the dash collom cause sometimes they can also fry but sounds like u need new headlight plugs and are using HID's

Most HID kits run on only 35 watts of power where a standard bulb runs on 55 watts. it takes 85 watts to start it but thats only for a sec or 2 so there is no way the harness would have burned out in only 2days. there are tons of people on the forums that have had their HID kits for 80,000+ miles and a few with kits for 3 years now.

arent you running hid's? for longer than 2 das at that....

check the bulb. the wattage it probably the 90/100w. ther are the lower watt (55w/65w i think check your manual.) i had that prob on my se-r... decided i wanted brighter lights, had no clue my harnesses would fry like bacon. (my rubber coating melted off, causing the exposed wires to my headlights to ground off the chassis, and caused my k&n filter from stillen to catch on fire.) :bag:

you can either spend $100 on HID's (insert plug from vvme.com from indian srt-4) and hard wire it, or you can spend $15 per harness to re-wire, plus $60 for a new pair of bulbs totaling $90

    just get the HID's...
