So I lowered my car a few weeks ago, and immediately noticed that I have more negative camber on my wheels than I did previously. I need to get the alignment checked, but I'm really avoiding it because I've already paid for 3 alignments on my truck recently. I started researching alignment and suspension components and came across this tool: http://www.intercomp-racing.com/Products/BUBBLE_CASTER_CAMBER_GAUGE_WITH_MAGNETIC_ADAPTER_731.cfm In this article: http://www.circletrack.com/chassistech/ctrp_0801_setting_caster_camber/index.html Have any of you used this (or something like this) on a street car? If so, do you know which magnetic base I would need for the SRT8?
I havent but im defetnly gonna have to read into it. and this type of thing should go into the RR/ autoX section because alot of use could benifit from it track wise. wow i like what im reading im gonna have to try it out.
Earlier today I emailed the company to ask about which base I will need or what to measure to get the right one. I'll post up any reply that I get.
I talked to intercomp this morning and they said that this one should work for stock vehicle hubs: http://www.intercomp-racing.com/Products/BUBBLE_CASTER_CAMBER_GAUGE_WITH_MAGNETIC_ADAPTER_731.cfm
