No leaks before or even after. When the ring gear let go, everything was contained in the case. When the CTS-V diff's let go, every single one cracked the case and spewed differential fluid and pieces of gears all over the road.
I would try pick a part......I know your under warranty but you could be on the road for around $350 for the rear.
