hahaha, no way man! i got caught racing my kenny bell tbird against some cute girls in a vert cobra. i was dead ass guilty of doing 100+ in a 45. local pd called backup, there was 2 cars and one bike that ended up behind me (girls got away).

the cop gave me the ticket, the first thing i did was pull out my cell phone and dial a number, the cop got upset that i was calling someone and ordered me to put the phone down. i told him i was calling my mother who is an attorney. he told me to hang up or i was going to jail. ticketed me for 70+ in a 45 and so i took it to court. they didnt have radar, line of sight, pacing, etc....he was just guessing my speed. needless to say, he didnt show up and i practically ran out of that place in case he was late.

Did he ask the officer any questions? That's pretty much a slap in the face for the cop. Kind of like a "get your shit together and straighten up" message.

Yes he did ask the Officer a few questions. (J = Judge / O = Officer)
J: By perception at what rate of speed do you think he was going.
O: I say he was doing about 65mph in the 45mph zone

J: Officer are you issued a radar/clocking device?
    O: Yes Sir

J: Did you have the equipment at the time?
    O: Yes Sir

The Officer did admit he did not have the equipment active at the time nor was he able to pace the vehicle he saw to get an idea on what sort of speed.

I hope he takes it as a lesson learned.
