Got a couple fun runs set up for today. My buddy has a 02 WRX. I helped him put a VF34 Turbo, 255 pump, and STi Pink injectors coulpe months ago. It also has full exhaust, uppipe, down pipe, intake and maybe a couple lil things. Should be a pretty good race I think? He's still on his stock clutch so his scared to do hard lanches. I should be able to out lanch him. From a roll I dont know how that will turn out. Dont worry. I'll have it all on vid. Should be up tonight.
You should be able to edge him out. If it were an STi, would be a different race. I am assuming the WRX has a tune as well?
Just ask Ari GoldenGreek how it will turn out he's used to the whoopin from the boosted sheep herder, if all else fails go home and get the cobra
Oh yeah its got a COBB AccessPORT tune. His running on his shity 90 octane tune tho. 90 is the highest octane sold at the pump up here.
Ahhhhh then you stand a good chance. If he can get race gas, he can then up the boost which would give him the edge... Good luck, have fun, and most of all, Please be safe.
Are u using the diablo I dont see it in your sig with Diablo, Borla S and Intake you should kick his arse
So pull the ABS fuse when going from a roll and leave it in when from a dig? I thought you should pull it when going from a dig?
Markus is right but if you have good tires and with the minimal mods you have you should be okay as long as the ground is dry. I did this at the track for the first time wity my mods and new Toyo tires and they stuck like glue with no spin you also get a better 60' time and lower 1/8 time pulling the ABS
I just read on the red stie that there are two different fuses to pull. One being the ABS and the ediff?
If you pull up the fuse box under the hood and look at the panel it will say ABS it is pink I did this last time at the track and got my best 60' in the 1.8's
So you think if I pull that fuse running my buddy will make me launch better on the street? Its still in the high 30s low 40s. Roads are cold but dry.
Vx 34 is just a tad bigger than stock. Cobb tunes tend to run conservative especially since you only have 90 octane. You should take him by a bit. He may out launch you but you should reel him back in.
