gear selection

is the 3:73 gear option in the diablo?
doing the rear end swap this week end
going from 3:06 to 3:73

 

Do you think you will end up shifting into 4th just before the 1/4 mile?

 

all is going to depend on what tires i am running

 

Make sure you do have a flash ready for the 3.73 or you will go into limp mode as soon as you hit 4th gear..

 

If you're shifting at 6400 with stock height sidewalls
22" wheels will get you to 112
20" wheels will get you to 105
19" wheels will get you to 101
18" wheels will get you to 98
17" wheels will get you to 94

Since those gears should get you to those speeds in a shorter distance I think you're going to be trapping in 4th.
